Lavish plum, blackberries, and mulberries precede this complex bouquet with undertones of lavender, anise, and touches of white pepper. Elegant refined tannins balance this wine with toffee and vanilla. A silky finish is completed with fine polished tannins.
When 1 will not do... Our first multi-year blend of Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is an example of declassified estate fruit blended from three vintages into a brilliant expressive and engaging wine. The strength and power of the 2017 vintage combined with elegant aromatic 2016 wine creates a wonderful drinkable, approachable and affable nonvintage Cabernet Sauvignon, especially when a small bit of the 2018 fresh lively fruity wine is added.
An encore to the previous vintage; this vibrant wine exudes characters of black cherry, ripe black plums and dark fruits harmonized by cedar, toffee and rich vanilla. Elegant fine tannins are framed by a velvety texture and silky smooth finish.
Bramble and lavender leap out of the glass, with just enough hint of saddle leather to make one think of a relaxing ride through the California desert. The mid-palate is supple but with enough structure to stand, and the tannin is holding well, with a pull that invites one to drink more.
Nose of lavender and Sicilian cherry, with a soft hint of cedar and leather. Tannins are still fresh and grab at the front of the mouth, slowly relaxing through the mid palate and leading to a cherry and plum finish. Still big and tight, this wine can be laid down for a few more years, and will be excellent when the front tannin softens a bit more. Highly recommended to pair with food now, and should complement a dinner of Osso Buco or lasagna al forno nicely.
Our Double Gold Cabernet Sauvignon offers complex characters of raspberry, cranberry, blackberry and red currents with undertones of tobacco and minerals. Notes of toasted marshmallow, cedar and vanilla dance on your tongue. Beautiful refined tannins are underscored with an elegant structure and long distinguished finish.
A three-barrel selection from our 2016 vintage that excited us on their own, this Reserve wine has rich cherry fruit and soft vanilla notes on the nose, and a smooth and supple mid-palate that carries over to an elongated and rounded finish with a slight edge of cedar.
Unique offering as 100% varietal this Petit Verdot is Dense and full-bodied, with aromas of leather and pipe tobacco and a concentrated full mouthfeel.
